Courier-Record celebrates 125th anniversary

The Courier-Record, founded as the Blackstone Courier in October 1890, is celebrating its 125th Anniversary. At a time of great challenge and change in the newspaper industry, the "Courier" is thriving with steady circulation and advertising, and an increased digital presence.

Publisher Doug Coleburn, 87, continues to write columns and editorials on his manual typewriter. He has worked at the paper full time since 1948.
